Why Can’t Remove Apps from iPad?

For some unmanaged apps, e.g. Apple native apps Garageband, Numbers, you may need to remove them manually from the iPads.

To remove apps manually, please make sure the following 3 profiles are inactive:

• Disable AppStore/Apps Install/Remove
• Disallow App Removal
• Disable AppStore

If you have set Homescreen Layout, please unset –

• “Devices” > “Device Management” > “Action / Bulk Action” > “Settings” > “Unset Homescreen Layout”

Then you can now manually remove apps from the devices.
